Linen, silk blends, velvet, mohair and natural-fiber weaves each react differently to water, heat and agitation. Every fabric carries a cleaning code (W, S, W/S or X), and that code, plus a test on a hidden spot, decides what we do: extraction for water-safe fabrics, a lower-moisture approach for sensitive ones, and a plain "we wouldn't wet-clean this" when that's the honest answer.

We'd rather turn down a piece than take a risk with it.

Rugs: on-site when it's right, a specialist when it isn't

Most wool, flatweave and natural-fiber blend rugs can be cleaned properly on-site — pH-neutral wool-safe solutions, lower heat, a colorfastness test first, and careful extraction so the backing isn't left wet. The rug stays in the room and the job takes an hour or two instead of weeks at a plant.

For a true antique, a silk rug, or anything with a real risk of dye bleeding, the right call is a specialist rug-washing plant, and we'll tell you that up front.
